We are now in Gorak Shep. 5180m. On our way here we saw the formations of Everest Base Camp (to the left of the glacier in the photo for those with good eye sight). We have been without cover for the last couple of days but seem to have picked up a signal here. We rise at 4am tomorrow to climb Kala Patthar (5550m) to watch the sun rise over Everest. Apparently, one of the better viewing platforms around. The following day we will head to base camp.
